In 1957 our founder began his pursuit of the American dream. That dream was to raise a business from the ground up to provide peace and security for his family and work for a few who wished to share in his efforts.

In a Fort Worth, Texas garage, Bill W. Parker founded an appliance and bathtub refinishing business. As his business grew, so did Mr. Parker’s reputation for being fair and trustworthy in his dealings.

In 1975 Parker purchased Appliance Parts Depot (APD) from Mr. Glen Dulin, a one-man show selling Sub-Zero, Hardwick, Chambers, Scotsman, U-Line, and Marvel appliance parts.

Over the years, APD acquired several companies and initiated partnerships with several more. Now we offer an expansive selection of brands—more than most of our competitors—and we take great pride in the privilege to represent each manufacturer.

But it isn’t the parts that make APD—it’s the people. Since 1975 we’ve received over thirty distinct awards for service excellence. We feel truly blessed to have dedicated people who are focused, friendly, and appreciative of their relationships with our customers.
